Computer issues are different varying on the software, hardware and user settings. It is recommended that you perform daily back-ups of the data on your hard drive, to ensure that data can be recovered in case of equipment failure. It is also recommened that computer data should be backed up before performing changes or repairs. Tech505 can offer advice or post helpful resources to help optimize your computer on this website. It is highly recommended that a certified computer technician should perform computer repairs, but if you choose to attempt a repair on your own computer, Tech505 will not be held responsible. Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, Company Checks, & Personal Checks
We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.
Multiple Product Orders
For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.
Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Our Store reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Backordered and Out-of-Stock Products
We will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually, products ship with in 24-72 hours, accept for orders received on Saturday, Sunday or any major holiday. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.
We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our site, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, address, phone number, and a password. We use this information to process your orders, to keep you updated on your orders and to personalize your shopping experience.

Tech505 will never notify you of current promotions, specials and new additions to the Tech505 website. If you recieve such email or phone call, Please contact us immediately becuase it could be spam or a scam.

Returns for Refund and Store Credit
Diagnostic Service is not refundable. Repair services may be refunded for up to 90 days after invoice date only if your equipment fails all repair options provided by Tech505 and your equipment is deemed unrepairable. Items or product purchased over $100.00 will not be refunded. All returns for refunds (no exceptions) are subjected to 25% restocking fee except special proprietary orders which have stocking fee of up to 50% restocking fee. Please note that Dell, Acer. Sony and HP computer products are non-refundable. Please make sure you are ordering the correct part. Shipping and Handling is nonrefundable. Customer has to pay for return shipping and he/she can mail back the item to return address on invoice/box. It is recommended to contact support to get Authorization number for refunds within 15 days from the date of delivery/purchase. No refunds or return for refunds after 15 days from the date of delivery/purchase. All items must be boxed as when purchased and must include all manuals, documentations, components, ect. All credit and exchanges must be approved by Tech505. Defective parts or products will be replaced or repaired at the option of Tech505. Refunding of defective recovery disc sets will be refunded by check only. Any dispute or legal action arising from transactions will only be entertained within the jurisdiction of the New Mexico court systems. There is FREE SHIPPING on some items. Note: Free shipping does cost us and we are not a freight company and it is not free for us. Returns made for refunds/credit/anything will be deducted for that amount.
Software Sales are Final
All software sales are final. Due to strictly imposed copyright laws, Tech505 will not refund money or exchange any software purchased. If software is defective, contact the service department, you may be instructed to contact the software manufacturer.
Our Service Area Delivery Policy
If you are located in Albuquerque or within 25 miles of, delivery from Tech505 is free. Unless otherwise noted, you are responsible for shipping charges. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery by Tech505 to common carrier. Title to the products will pass to you upon full payment of invoice. Upon failure to pay any invoice, Tech505 may reclaim goods described on the unpaid invoice, plus costs, and attorney's fees.
Out of State and Service Area Computer Warranty
In order to obtain service on your equipment if you are located out of the Albuquerque service area, you must do the following:
1. Contact Tech505 help desk at 505-203-3798 to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). You must provide original invoice number, shipping date, serial number, complete description of item(s) being returned and reason for return.
2. Within ten (10) days of receiving the RMA number, ship the product, freight prepaid, with a copy of your original invoice. (Proof of purchase) Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the shipping box and mailing label. FREIGHT COLLECT OR C.O.D RETURNS WILL BE REFUSED.
Tech505 Computer Warranty
(Computer Hardware and Peripherals limited one year)
All new Tech505 computer Systems and components are warranted against defective in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase. If a defect is discovered during the warranty period. Tech505 will, AT ITS OPTION, repair or replace the product at no charge to you. If the service performed is deemed to be unrelated to any defects in parts or workmanship, both travel time and service time will be billed to the customer at the current service rate. The warranty applies only to hardware and peripheral products. Software, printers and manuals are licensed and/or warranted pursuant to separate written statements by that manufacturer.
Product failures resulting from misuse of product, electrical surges, lightning or other acts of God are not considered product defects and the repair or replacement of products under these circumstances is not considered to be part of the warranty obligation.
Unless otherwise stated on your invoice, all used inventory is warranted under limited warranty against parts and labor defects for a period of 90 days from the invoice date.
Tech505 Service Warranty
All labor is warranted for ninety (90) days from the service date. Diagnostic or Estimate service is not refundable. Virus removal is warranty ninety (90) days if the exact same virus infection reoccurs. All new parts are warranted for one (1) year from the service date. All used parts are warranted for ninety (90) days from the service date. Due to their delicate nature, computer memory and CPU chips are not warranted unless installed by Tech505. Chip installation is provided free of charge with chip purchase. Tech505 virus removal service is warranted ninety (90) days from the service date. Viruses could come back if you perform a system restore, continue to visit bad websites, download illegal software or music from torrent sites, LimeWire or other programs. If Tech505 deems your computer to have such history or installed programs will void Tech505 virus warranty. All articles left for computer service or repair and not called in on for 3 months will be sold for charges pursuant to Sections 48-3-22 through 48-3-27 NMSA 1978. Call 505-203-3798 for more details.
Tech505 is NOT responsible for the data or any of your installed programs on your computer. By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
This warranty applies only to you, the purchaser named on the service invoice. The warranty is not transferable. The warranty runs from the original invoice date, regardless of any repairs or replacements by Tech505. The terms of any extended warranty purchased through Tech505 will supersede the terms of this warranty.
EXCLUSIONS: This warranty is void if the product has been modified without the WRITTEN permission of Tech505; of if any serial numbers have been removed of altered and/or the warranty seal is broken. Products failures resulting from misuse of product, electrical surges, lighting or other “Acts of God” as not covered by this warranty. Tech505 is not responsible for repairing or replacing systems files or other software files on any system on which illegal or “pirated” software has been installed. Tech505 is not responsible for software support or repair of any problem created by your installation of software that interferes with the machine configuration. Tech505 shall have no obligation to enhance or update ANY UNIT once manufactured. Service performed, including travel time, that is not covered by this warranty will be billed to you at the current service rate.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. If an implied warranty is imposed by any court, such implied warranty shall be limited in duration to one (1) year from the date of original purchase of the product. The warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other,oral or written, expressed or implied. No Tech505’s dealer, agent or employee of Tech505 is authorized to make any modifications, extensions or additions to this warranty. Tech505 is not responsible for special incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or under any other legal theory, including loss of profits, downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, and any cost of recovering, reprogramming or reproducing any program or date stored in or used with Tech505 products.

Shipping Time: Most orders received will ship within 24-72 hours, provided the product ordered is in stock. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.

Our store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax current 7.1875% for orders to be delivered to addresses within New Mexico. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing or error in image or other information received from our suppliers, Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price
We reserve the right to make changes to this site and these Conditions at any time.
Any dispute or legal action arising from transactions will be governed by New Mexico Law and will be decided in the courts of the State of New Mexico. The prevailing party to any action will be entitled to an award of reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.
