Full service detail

Full Service package ($ 112.00 per computer).  Work that is performed:

The price of this service package includes labor of replacement parts, data backup and all other labor required to complete repairs, setup, test and tutor.

Data Backups:

• Data is backed up to dvd's or to customer provided media then restored to clients computer.
• Data is backed up to technician's backup drive then restored to clients computer.
• Programs can not be backed up.
• Data such as Outlook email, contacts, quickbooks data, documents, pictures and music.

Data Restored:

• If your hard drive or operating system has to be reinstalled, your data is restored to its original locations after repairs are completed.
• Data is scanned for viruses and cleaned so that none are not transfered back onto your repaired computer.
• Outlook data, .pst files, contacts are imported back into Outlook.
• Internet Explorer favorites are restored.
• All other program data is restored if required.

Virus and Spyware Removal:

• All viruses and spyware are removed using speacial utilities designed for specific malware.
• Free Anti-Malware tool installed and computer is scanned. Removal of detected objects.

OS Repair or OS Reinstall:

• Repair of errors and damages caused by viruses. 
• File permissions are repaired
• Windows corrupt files are repaired
• Windows .dll cache is cleared
• Windows file protection is run
• All installed programs are checked and repaired.
• OS repair installation. (if required)
• Hard drive format and reinstall of OS (if required)

Tune-Up:

• Free cleanup program is installed.
• Removal of internet tracks, junk files, cookies.
• Remove history, temporary internet files, clear Internet Explorer cache.
• Index.dat files removed, clear typed URLs,
• Windows temp folders cleared.
• Registry cleaning and errors fixed.

Optimization:

• Startup programs are trimmed.

• Uninstall unneeded programs.
• Registery tweeks that improve system performance
• Reset system restore. Create a new restore point
• Reset Internet Explore to default settings
• Reset Windows Firewall to default settings
• Optimize visual effects
• Check date and time
• Check device manager
• Optimize power management
• Optimize Page File and running processes
• Check for .NET Framework version - update to at least v2.0 required.

OS Updates and Program Updates.

• Security holes patched
• Windows Updates installed
• Drivers updated
• Installed virus software is updated
• Java and Flash updated.
• Other programs updated such as Adobe and Apple software.

Dust Removal

• Dust can cause hardware failures. All dust from internal and external components are cleaned.

Hardware Part Replacement.

• If parts failed, this service package includes the installation of parts.

Software Installation.

• Installation of new software.
• Reinstallation of software if your computer's operating system was reloaded.
• Adobe reader, Nero 7 Essentials, Java, Flash and anti-virus software are installed.

Anything else needed or required.

• Printer installation and setup.
• Networking to router, printer, wireless gateway and file sharing.
• Software tutor.
• Check for memory upgrade options.
• Anything else required to finish the job.
